Fine, young British
tenor... voice has an exciting
dramatic ring to it... makes an excellent job of Mozart's demanding
concert aria Misero O sogno
yet he's just as convincing in gentler fair
such as the love struck Ferrando in Cosi
fan tutte.... Such vital
performances that you get swept along with the singing...

In
technical terms, and particularly in his outstandingly idiomatic Italian
enunciation, Ovenden proves complete master of his chosen repertory...
I have only admiration.
Max
Loppert, BBC Music magazine
The fine tenor Jeremy
Ovenden, who has sung most of the major Mozart roles all over Europe,
sings with an engaging commitment to these joyous creations… a
delightful selection.
Ovenden’s attractive, bright tenor… his rhythm, diction and easy
flexibility of voice are exemplary.
